The Problem We Solve
Millions of government employees, court typists, and competitive exam candidates across India type in Krutidev (Kruti Dev 010) every day. This legacy Hindi font from the 1990s maps Devanagari characters to ASCII code points in a non-standard way. When these workers need to share their documents via WhatsApp, email, or the web, the text looks like garbled Latin characters to anyone who does not have the Krutidev font installed.
The fix is straightforward: convert Krutidev text to Unicode, which every modern device can read. But the existing online converter tools are slow, cluttered with ads, loaded with outdated frameworks, and provide no educational resources for the typing community.
KrutiDevTools replaces the five-tab workflow (one site for conversion, another for keyboard reference, a third for typing practice, a fourth for font downloads) with a single site that does everything.

Our Team
KrutiDevTools is built and maintained by the KrutiDevTools Team - a group of developers with experience in Hindi language computing, legacy font systems, and web accessibility. We chose to use team attribution rather than individual profiles because content is written and reviewed collaboratively.
Our expertise comes from working directly with the Krutidev encoding standard, studying the character mapping tables, and testing conversion accuracy against real-world documents from government offices and court filings. Our conversion engine has been tested against 25+ benchmark cases covering consonants, vowels, matras, conjuncts, and mixed-language text.
