Conversion Accuracy

Our Krutidev-to-Unicode and Unicode-to-Krutidev converters use the standard character mapping tables that have been in public use since the Krutidev font was created in the 1990s. We test against a benchmark of 100+ text samples covering common Hindi prose, government document patterns, and edge cases involving conjunct characters (half-letters, reph, chhoti i matra).

That said, no conversion tool can guarantee 100% accuracy for every possible input. Known limitations include:

• Non-standard Krutidev variants (KrutiDev 011, 014, 016, Display 490) may use slightly different character mappings than KrutiDev 010
• Text originally typed in one Krutidev variant and then converted to another before reaching our tool may produce double-conversion errors
• Mixed-language text (Hindi and English in the same paragraph) requires the "Protect English text" option to be enabled for correct results
• Rare conjunct characters and complex ligatures may not convert perfectly in every context

Always proofread converted text before submitting it for official, legal, or examination purposes.

Font files (KrutiDev 010, Chanakya, Preeti, DevLys, and others) are provided as-is. These fonts have been in free circulation for decades and are widely distributed across the internet. We verify file integrity using SHA-256 checksums and provide verification commands so you can confirm the file has not been tampered with.

We do not warrant that font files are free from defects or compatible with every operating system, application, or device. If you experience rendering issues after installing a font, consult our troubleshooting guide or uninstall the font through your system settings.

Typing Test Results

Typing test scores generated on this site (words per minute, accuracy percentage, error count) are for self-assessment and practice only. These scores:

• Are not certified or authenticated by any authority
• Should not be presented to employers or exam boards as official test results
• May differ from scores obtained on official examination software due to differences in timing mechanisms, key detection, and passage difficulty
• Are stored only in your browser's local storage and are not verifiable by any third party
